After brawling with Walker (Ryan Bingham), Rip (Cole Hauser) puts a stop to it and reminds Lloyd that there’s no fighting in the bunkhouse with a little frontier justice of his own. Meanwhile, Rip’s better half, Beth (Kelly Reilly) may have met her match in Caroline Warner (Jacki Weaver). Warner reads Beth well and instead of threatening her she offers her a job. Back at the ranch, Monica (Kelsey Asbille) and Tate (Brecken Merrill) are both still struggling with PTSD from the home invasion, and in Tate’s case, killing a man. Knowing that the ranch is the last place they want or need to be, Kayce (Luke Grimes) offers to take them to the Res so they can all attempt to heal. By the end of the episode, Jamie (Wes Bentley) discovered who was behind the attack on the Duttons. In this week’s episode of Yellowstone, “Under a Blanket of Red,” John (Kevin Costner) and Kayce are forced to deal with some newcomers in town while Beth considers her recent job offer. Lloyd is in the doghouse with Rip as his punishment for starting a fight, Walker finds some purpose in teaching Carter (Finn Little). Meanwhile, Jamie seeks information about his father, Garrett Randall (Will Patton). “Under a Blanket of Red” introduces us to Summer Higgins (Piper Perabo), a Portland activist who who comes to town to lead a group of protestors.
