The 69-year-old Irish-American actor recently welcomed another grandchild into the world and shared the delightful news with a carousel of images on Instagram. “Jaxxon Elijah Brosnan, born 3:06pm 11/12/22… all good blessings to you my dearest grandson, welcome,” the happy grandfather shared alongside two adorable snaps of the newborn. Brosnan’s caption continued: “Congratulations my darling Sean, Sanja and Marley. Peace be with you.” The baby was born to Brosnan’s son, Sean Brosnan, whom he shared with his late wife, Australian actress Cassandra Harris, who passed away from ovarian cancer in 1991, and daughter-in-law, Sanja Banic. Jaxxon’s birth marks the couple’s second child together and Pierce’s fourth grandchild. Sean and Sanja also share a seven-year-old daughter, Marley May Cassandra, who happens to be the first grandchild ever born to Brosnan. A few months after her birth, the new grandpa also celebrated the news on Instagram, writing, “My first grandchild, Marley May Cassandra Brosnan …gorgeous if I do say so myself…!” Brosnan has two other grandchildren from his late daughter, Charlotte, who died of the same type of cancer as her mother in 2013, and her husband, Alex Smith.
