The Tonight Show host announced last night that he is teaming up with none other than country music icon Dolly Parton to give fans the best holiday song of 2022.“Last year I released a holiday song with Ariana Grande and Megan Thee Stallion, and I wanted to keep that tradition going – so I’m announcing that I’m releasing another holiday song this year,” the host said during an episode of his talk show. Fallon went on to say that there is always a debate about listening to Christmas music too early, so he thought—“what better day to announce it than Halloween?” “I thought it would be kind of fun if I put out a song and released it around Halloween for the holidays,” he said. “It’s a duet with me and a music legend – one of my favorite people of all time – Dolly Parton,” he continued. The song, titled “Almost Too Early for Christmas,” includes cover art that embraces the holidays from Halloween to Christmas and features the duo in cartoon form wearing Christmas outfits with a pumpkin and turkey in the background.
